These terms apply when you use advancedinitiatives.com and the TrueVoice app at truevoice.advancedinitiatives.com, provided by Advanced Technology Initiatives LLC, [registered address] ("we"). By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Results are estimates
TrueVoice estimates whether a voice is AI. The estimate can be wrong in both directions: a real voice can be marked as AI, and an AI voice can be marked as real. A result is not proof and is not legal or forensic evidence. Do not make important decisions, such as sending money, based on a result alone. If a call asks for money or secrets, hang up and contact the person or organisation on a number you already know.
Your account
You must be at least 16 to use the TrueVoice app. Your account is for you alone. Keep your email and Google account secure, because anyone who can read them can sign in. You can delete your account at any time on the data policy page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- check recordings you have no right to share, or recordings made against the law where you live;
- use the service to harass, deceive or harm anyone;
- use the service to test or tune voice clones so that they avoid detection;
- use automated programs on the service, get around its limits or bot checks, or overload it;
- copy, take apart or reverse engineer the service or its models;
- send scam reports you know to be false.
Your audio and reports
You keep all rights to the audio you check. You allow us to process it only to perform the check, after which it is deleted. When you send a scam report, you allow us to use it to understand scams and to publish statistics that do not identify you.
Our service
The service, the TrueVoice name and the models belong to us. The app is free for now. We may change, limit or stop any part of it, set usage limits, and suspend accounts that break these terms.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by relying on a result, and our total liability to you is limited to 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law to be confirmed]. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring claims in your local courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will also tell signed-in users in the app. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply.
